Ready Mix Concrete Slinger Pumping Ready mixed concrete is a versatile and cost effective building material that is crucial in nearly all kinds of construction. Often compared to baking a cake, making concrete involves following a "recipe" of basic ingredients of cement (flour-like powder), sand, stone and water. The mixture, which can be adjusted with the use of chemical additives, can be customized to meet a wide range of applications in construction. Our fleet also includes two stone slingers for the placement of stone and gravel. Unlike the usual dump-truck method, the stone slinger shoots the aggregate to where you want it. Pumping is a very efficient and reliable means of placing concrete, which makes it a very economical method as well. Sometimes, a pump is the only way of placing concrete in a certain location, such as a high rise building, or large slabs where the chutes of the concrete truck cannot reach.
